well, i'm surviving ok ok only, still learning the ropes of the new job. haha i'm actually glad i can get to experience the best of both worlds. yeah so i wont complain too much. only can hope that this week i would be able to finish my work before work ends because i dont want to do overtime!!!!!. haha last week everyday OT sia. and i dont get paid extra=(

haha and this week i plan to meet up with QUACK MING JIE. lol and hopefully some others man. i better start using my free time to reconnect with people. haha =) i'm feeling i'm going to spend alot of money this week. hahahaha time to save up!! no more buying drinks during lunch time! =)

anyway ijust to tell u guys, i plan to save up such that i will be able to tide over my uni days(at least first year!) with my savings from NS. hahaha

ok i deleted afew words in my previous post. P-O-C OOH! THE LEGACY OF NPC5 IS LEFT BEHIND. IN THE FORM OF A DAM DIRTY BUNK. ( i had no part to play in that okay).

oh well, now that we are no longer trainees, im beginning to feel scared. =/ im afraid to have a team that sucks, that is unfriendly, that is boring. can u totally imagine spending 12 freaking hours in a patrol car with someone you dont talk to? o.m.g. anyway, thats not the main point. the main point is im scared of the work policemen do. with this batch of npco passing out, its going to be the real world now. im supposed to write log sheets, take photographs, take down statements etc etc etc and if i screw anything up im dead.

picking up calls, anything in this world can happen. what do you do if someone calls at 10 am to complain of her neighbour playing drums? stunned. because her neighbour is technically not breaking any law. hai

what do you tell a person who called to say that a monkey is on the road? send a fast-response-car down?

what do you do if 2 complainants walk into the NPC at the same time? sure super stress one.

gah. there is an inner fear in me. till i meet my new colleges. till then. =)

anyway i had a great time talking to iggy today after bookout over dinner. =)

there are always things about myself i dont understand. and most i probably never will.

NS, brings out the best and worst in me. yeah its good that i finally mastered how to control my anger, my hurt through my smile, but my heart had grown bitter. how much can a man continuous take degrading words, actions, which are crude jokes to others? i treat them nicely, they treat me like shit. for quite some time, i questioned myself about man's morality, how can one person be so different from one another?so far all the people i come into contact with repays goodness with goodness, but here in NS, its totally different, and i refuse to believe that JC people do not have better attitude than those with a lower degree of study. i know i'm 'bullied' because im not as tough as some of the other guys, because they know i would not retaliate no matter what. this is the last week of my npco course. i cant wait.

friends come and go, and yet i dont understand how i just simply let some them go.i know i'm always looking forward to meetings with friends.....i remember in primary school i begged my parents to let me sit the school bus back home instead of my dad fetching my home because i wanted to spend time with my friends on the bus ride home. i remember begging my parents in secondary school to let me go out with the NPCC guys for dinner after training. i know i really looked forward to guitar ensemble practices after a long day at school. 6 years, 4 years, 2 years.... why are good things getting shorter and shorter? i know right now, most of my friends are thinking that i had forgotten them. but i do still think about them, primary school,secondary school, JC friends. the girl(s) i liked, the guy(s) who will make my day....it always seems so easy to feel close to them when they are around me, im always liking a good company of friends. but when the chances of meeting them are like, once a year, how the heck do we keep them close to my heart?

meeting people once a week is pratically impossible for me already, its like this life is too short for anything meaningful to do. i really want to meeet up with my friends regularly, yet life is always against this. how short are weekends. =/ i really cannot wait for my police work to start, this way i will be sometimes free on weekdays, sometimes on weekends. i hope i will bbe able to mend some friendships that had grown cold with time. =(

my goal in life now, is to remain a happy person, that i would not be troubled by worldly values such as $ or other things. and for me to be a happy person, is to have good, fun and serious relationships with all my friends.

gosh. i think i understand myself better already. thank you blogger. this is my first post in a long long time man.

I HAVE a feeling im going to miss bpt. (basic police training).

though training is nothing compared to army's bmt, i cant help but feel proud that i've come through 3 months of bpt. best squad, containing the best trainee, demo squad, who else could ask for a squad like that? i'm going to misss my bunk mates alot.

i came to ns with a conviction to remain in the background, dun wanna be so prominent. both happy and unhappy about that man. like syaz said ''the underdog of our squad''

one thing i've learnt from BPT, which i didnt say in the screwed up OCT interview,

is that i've learnt to treasure my family more.

i dont know why, i dont know why. but i'm glad i went late for my class gathering in order to visit my grandma (father's side).

friends, no matter how close, are still friends. family comes first. and i dont know why i almost cried when i left my grandma's house. maybe because i still miss my other grandma, maybe.... i dont know....

oh well, this tues my grandma passed away. =( first received news about it in camp.. oh well, the stupid part is that the systems only allows me 1 day compassionate leave, which i took on thursday to friday. which basically means that i spent tues, wed, and thurs morn and afternoon stuck in camp alone. alone to feel sad, alone to be emo. =/ oh well, im just glad to be with my family now, and see my ahma. =)

just wanna thank God for the life she lived, and all that she had done for me, praying for me, encouraging me.. =)

haha today everyone in my bun woke up dam late, like 5.15am -_- everyone shack sia, but lucky morning got shooting nia =)

and surprisingly i think no one fell sick after the rain. thank God!

woke up at 5am. -_- so hard to get up ma! but at least breakfast was good. simple. BREAD AND JAM WOO!. and then our lessons on gun theory started.. haha gonna shoot for 2 weeks now.. =)

then classsroom lessons.. haha but what happened after that.... pt! we ran, ran, ran, in the rain!! a first for me, a first for many. haha total coolness man, and needlesss to say everyone got soaking wet haha and there goes my only pair of running shoes in HTA. i brought my other pair home. smart sia =( and i think everyone gonna fall sick sia -_-

ok police was kinda of ... hmm. haha to be honest, slack. =))

first 2 days of confinement was super tiring, cox the instructors anyhow wack us one. lol then the whole of the first week, body ach like siao. hahahahaha but after that the schedule become more slack le..

normal day:

5.30am wake up, then 5.50 got water parade haha then slack time till 6.30. wooo haha

physical trg till 8.30, then breakfast till 9. lessons from 9-12 (and its in aircon rooom!) then lunch from 12-1, 1-2 is slack time, then 2-4.30 is lessons again. 4.30 till 6 is physical trg or drills, then after that is dinner and THEN ITS FREE TIME WOOOOOOOOOO

and the food, is dam good. but got sooo little oily food man. haha =)

also watched a movie callled changling. quite nice. =)

and my first IPPT is next week, and im sick, with all the CNY food... lol

their very own request. 1st time they requested, the head commanders rejected . same for the second time they tried. third time lucky, they landed and the 2 went off to protect the crew. i bet they knew what they were facing, and yet they still did it. why?

another 2 years has passed. another batch of friends formed-and lost.

as much as i want to reignite the good old flame i believed we once shared, i just cant. too much is happening, too much has changed, too much will it be disruptive in our lives. farewell my friend, i wish you all the best in your future endeavors. i never know when i will see you again, but be sure, you had once held a place in my heart.

to the rest of my friends, if i fall out of contact with you guys, forgive me. all of you, will not be forgotten i promise you that. even though i may not have showed you much care and concern in the past years, i really do enjoy your friendship. 10 years down the road, 20 years down the road, whenever you need help, just call me. =)

i have changed alot in these 2 years. actually too much for my liking. i learned how to hide my feelings, store up whatever feelings i have. and whether thats a good thing or bad thing i dont know. i become more of a loner, going out alone, eating alone, studying alone, and sometimes i dont enjoy that feeling of being alone. yet i take people for granted, take their love for granted, thinking it will never end.... being more selfish, being more arrogant, acting more stupidly. my heart has grown a layer of hardness over it. all these i ask for your forgiveness. i learny that girls are so unpredictable. that to truly understand one would be a lifetime worth of commitment, something im not yet reaady to give.

faith wise, i realised i've been rather stagnant with my walk with God. i need to do something . i cannot survive another year without God. there is just so many things to do that sometimes i get too ccaught up in activities, and not realising the purposes of them.

my dog drove me nuts today with his barking. zzzzzzzz i went down to check on him 4 freaking times and killed 30+ flies and 1 lice sia. lol the female lice was the size of about half a 5 cent coin and i vented my anger on it using a screwdriver.

lol so basically i screwed the lice and the head got cut off. lol haha.

oh ya. Alvl's comming to an end. duno whether to be happy or sad. lol

one day studying at LJS at singapore post(my new study spot!)

2 girls came in and sat at the table opposite me. and they stared at me.

i stared back.

then i went on to do my stats questions when i noticed they were still staring at me.

then they started talking. in a language i didnt understand(and its not chinese).

and they looked at me and laughed and continue talking in their native tongue..

i took out my earphones from my bag very slowly and the girls were still looking. and put them on.

last saturday, i was studying at ljs again when i saw a guy waving to my direction. not knowing who that was, i waved back.

u see, subway and ljs is opposite each other, so i could see thru the glass doors and see subway.

i realised,

they they were the former sec 1's that i took when i was in tk.

now they are sec 3 and taking charge of the squad. wow, time flies real fast.

and the whole grp of them was eating at subway. yea so after one guy spotted me, i bet he told the rest and afew of them started turning around ad waving to me. lol

they really grew.

I CANT BELIEVE i had spent 8+ hours rolling on my bed trying to sleep yesterday. zzzz-_-

from 9 plus to 6... yeah and it totally helps that today was the first day of eams(not counting gp) and i didnt get a wink of sleep. im so dead i think i just like cant think straight sia for my chem and econs..... oh talking about chem it was horrible. so hard! =(

crap and i just life developed a uber big ulcer and its dam pain. cos its at the place where the upper jaw meets the lower jaw and yeah ouch. zzzzz

to be able to step into church and join a congregation praising God, how wonderful it is.
